Pupil Leadership

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors are passionate that nobody should be left behind at St Joseph's. They have already had an impact this year introducing a 'Kindness Club' with weekly challenges across the school. They also plan whole-school events, such as Anti-Bullying Week.

Pupil Chaplaincy Team

Our St Joseph's Chaplaincy Team are the leading lights for the Prayer Life of the school. They are active in developing and strengthening our Mission and their work this term includes: Leading School Masses, running prayer sessions in our School Chapel and taking the lead in introducing our Leaders of Faith Award, as well as taking the lead in charity fundraising

Community Choir

Our Community Choir bring JOY to our local community, through such events as singing in local care homes.

Eco-Warriors

Our Eco Warriors take our role of Stewards of the Earth very seriously and are proactive when thinking of small ways we can make a difference.

Last year, they banned laminating in school and this year and reduced single use plastic in and around the school. This year, they have been a part of Wiltshire's initiative to stop litter in the County' 'The Great British Spring Clean.'

Pupil Parliament

 Our Pupil Parliament are passionate about making a difference. Recent activities have included introducing a Road Safety Campaign around the school vicinity, creating 'Wet Play' boxes for every class and raising funds to replace our Astroturf. 

Artists in Residence

Our Artists in Residence are super creative. Their latest project has been to create a Tapestry Panel representing our school. This will become part of a Devizes Community Project that will celebrate all aspects of Devizes and will be displayed for all to see in Devizes. We are proud to be an active part of the Devizes Community.

Wellbeing Champions

Our Wellbeing Champions spread light and happiness and offer peer support to ensure that all of our pupils feel safe, loved and able to talk about any worries. This year, they have taking a leading role in a 'Phunky Foods' campaign to encourage healthy eating and lifestyles.
