Science

At St Joseph’s, our science curriculum enables children to ask questions about the world we live in and to discover the answers.  Our engaging and exciting lessons promote a culture where children are eager to share and grow in confidence to discuss their ideas and understanding.

We teach them the scientific knowledge and skills that they need in order to be successful in their future lives and contribute to the wider community.  Children are empowered with a strong knowledge base that they can then use to evaluate important issues, analyse evidence and problem-solve.

Our exciting topic-based curriculum allows children to fully immerse themselves in their science learning whilst cross-curricular links allow them to demonstrate their understanding.  St Joseph’s children demonstrate a love of learning in their science lessons and are eager to participate and to share their ideas.
